Set Up a Two-Way Contact Sync Between Exchange Server and Pipedrive 

  1. First, Log in to CiraHub. You will be taken to the onboarding wizard. (See figure below.) Next, select the object you want to sync. In this example the “Contacts” object has been selected. Hub and Spoke Setup
  2. Next start the Hub and Spoke setup. Click on “Exchange Server” as your source type for your contact spoke and select User Mailbox.Exchange Server Select User Mailbox
  3. Enter your Exchange Sever Connector Login, Password, URL, and Exchange Version. If you are running an Exchange Server Version dated 2016 or later, always select Exchange 2016 in your Connector Settings.  Connector Settings
  4. Wait for CiraHub to Validate your Exchange Server Settings in order to access your data. Exchange Server Validation
  5. Select the Mailbox Folder you would like to sync.  Select the Mailbox Folder you would like to sync.  
  6. Type in a Spoke Name and click Next.  exchange server spoke name
  7. Type in a Hub Name and click Create to two-way sync Exchange Server contacts for the hub and spoke connection. exchange server hub name
  8. Select the option to add an Additional Spoke. add spoke
  9. Click on “CRMs” as your source type for your contact spoke. (The Hub contains all synced Contacts from each spoke; a spoke can be a Public Folder, a user mailbox, the GAL or a CRM.) Select Source Type of Contact Spoke
  10. Next, select Pipedrive as the source type for your contact spoke.Select Pipedrive
  11. Sign in with Pipedrive to add your account to the Hub, or select an existing Pipedrive account. Pipedrive Sign in
  12. If you selected “Sign in with Pipedrive”, you’ll be prompted to this screen to enter your Pipedrive username and password.Pipedrive Log in
  13. Click Allow and Install to two-way sync Pipedrive contacts.  Pipedrive connector
  14. Type in a Spoke Name and click Next.Pipedrive Add Spoke Name
  15. Next, type in the Hub Name and click Create. Pipedrive Add Hub name
  16. Next, right-click your spoke, and select “Sync Options”. From there, you will be taken to a new window; click the box which says, “Allow Hub to create and sync items in this spoke.” Pipedrive Sync Options
  17. Click on “Allow Hub to create and sync items in this spoke”. This will allow you to two-way sync Exchange Server Pipedrive Contacts from the endpoint to the hub database and back. Select Categorize Data in Spoke if you would like to filter the items you would like to sync. Pipedrive Allow Hub to Sync
  18. Click the Advanced tab to set up contact filtering for Pipedrive. This would enable a user to synchronize and create Hub items based on specific criteria.  Hubspot Advanced
  19. Click on “Sync now” to two-way sync Exchange Server Pipedrive Contacts. You can also edit synchronization options for each of your spokes below.Pipedrive Sync Now
