CRM Contact Sync Between a Marketing Agency and an Electronics Component Distributor

Primary Actor: Confluent Electronics (CE)

Secondary Actor: ElectroZone (EZ)

Client’s Pain Point

Confluent Electronics is a leading electronic component distributor based in Washington. It supplies passive and semiconductor components to equipment manufacturers across the US to aid their operations. The company had hired a digital marketing agency, ElectroZone, as part of several New Product Introduction (NPI) campaigns. For seamless and efficient collaboration between the Marketing team at EZ and the Sales department at CE, both parties needed to frequently exchange contacts of employees, vendors, and salespersons. However, nobody on the team had the required IT experience to make this a reality.

The project team at Confluent utilizes Pipedrive’s CRM capabilities for storing and managing the Contacts of vendors, and leads, as well as for its email marketing efforts. At the time of the partnership, CE had over 3500 contacts. Consequently, Savannah, an engineer at CE noted that sorting, merging, and handling duplicate contacts on a regular basis would be cumbersome and time-consuming for the collaboration, resulting in hours of lost productivity weekly.

CiraHub’s Solution: CRM Contact Sync Between a Marketing Agency and an Electronics Component Distributor

An industry colleague recommends CiraHub to Savannah. CiraHub is a 2-way sync solution for Contacts and Calendars suitable for organizations using Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange, and G-suite. CiraHub is the ideal solution for employees lacking IT expertise and helps avoid the time-intensive task of manually updating contacts between multiple sources, which can take up vast amounts of time and affect productivity.

On CiraHub’s Dashboard, Savannah starts up a Hub and Spoke Setup process. She clicks on “Contacts” and chooses “CRM” and “Pipedrive” as the source type of the Contact spoke. Then, she logs in to Pipedrive as an Admin using her department’s login details. Then, she added a new “spoke” to a new Public Folder which EZ would gain access. She then clicks “Allow hub to create and sync items in this spoke” for each Spoke using Sync Options to enable two-way sync with the Hub on the Dashboard. So, the result was an automatic 2-way sync that updated new Contact additions periodically throughout the day.
