In a two-way contact sync or multi-way contact sync, whenever a new record is created in one source, the data is instantly or periodically updated in all other sources.

The following are the Contact sources available to be synced with CiraHub:

Public Folders: Public folders provide a storage destination that’s accessible by selected users in your organization, making them the perfect place to store documents, photos, and various other file types. However, when organizations need to work together, information may be difficult to access, and manual sharing is repetitive and time-consuming. CiraHub allows users to perform a contact sync between public folders as well as other sources on-demand between different tenants and is constantly updated throughout the day.

A global address list (GAL) is a directory containing entries for every group, user, and contact within an organization’s Exchange Server or the address lookup feature in O365. Although Microsoft doesn’t provide a means to natively merge or sync multiple GALs together, users can use CiraHub to sync multiple GALs across various tenants. This makes cross-organizational contact sync a breeze.

You can use CiraHub to contact sync GALs and the following:

  • Other GALs (GAL-to-GAL sync)
  • O365 Public Folders and User Mailboxes
  • Exchange Server Folders
  • Google contacts
