Do you want to two-way sync contacts back and forth between your two Microsoft 365 mailboxes? Or perhaps you want to sync contacts across all users from a single shared contact list? If so, you’ve come to the right place! In this article, we’ll demonstrate how to use the CiraHub platform to quickly and effectively start two-way syncing all of your contact information.<\/p>\n

This article will outline how to two-way sync<\/a> contacts between Microsoft 365 User Mailboxes within the same organization.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Two-Way Contact Sync Between Microsoft 365 User Mailboxes<\/span><\/h2>\n

  1. \u00a0<\/span>First, Log in to <\/span>CiraHub<\/span>. You will be taken to the onboarding wizard. (See figure below.)<\/span><\/span> Next, select the object you want to sync. In this example, the <\/span>contacts object has been selected<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    2<\/span>.<\/span><\/span> Next, start<\/span> the Hub and Spoke setup. <\/span>Click on <\/span>\u201c<\/span>Microsoft 365 in my tenant<\/span>\u201d<\/span> as your source type for your contact spoke.<\/span> (The <\/span><\/span>Hub<\/span><\/span> contains all <\/span>synced <\/span>Contacts from each spoke<\/span>;<\/span> a spoke can be a Public Folder, a user mailbox, the <\/span>GAL,<\/span> or <\/span>a <\/span>CRM.)<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    3<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Select <\/span>\u201c<\/span>User Mailbox<\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/a> as the contact spoke type.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    4<\/span>. Choose a <\/span>User Mailbox<\/span> to <\/span>two-way sync User Mailbox contacts<\/a>. You will have to scan through your global address list and select the <\/span>user\u2019s <\/span>Mailbox Folder you would like to sync.<\/span><\/p>\n

    5<\/span>. <\/span>Next, type<\/span>\u00a0in the <\/span>\u201cSpoke Name\u201d<\/span> that users would like to use and click Create to two-way sync Microsoft 365 User Mailboxes. It<\/span> is<\/span> important to name and label your spoke so you can efficiently sort through and find it.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    6. <\/span><\/span>Now, if you wish to add an additional mailbox to this contact hub, please reference steps 2 – 6<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    7. Next, right-click your spoke, and select \u201cSync Options“.<\/span><\/p>\n

    8<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span> Click <\/span>\u201c<\/span>Allow Hub<\/span>\u201d<\/span> to create and sync items in this spoke. This <\/span>will enable you to two-way sync contacts between Microsoft 365 Mailboxes from the endpoint to the hub database and back.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    9<\/span>. <\/span>Repeat this process with any number of mailboxes you wish to keep in sync. Once that is complete, click \u201cSync Now\u201d to <\/span>begin the syncing process, from <\/span>here on<\/span> out until disabled, the two contact sources will stay<\/span> continuously updated with one another<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
